Our service offers free cervical smear tests and confidential care provided by friendly and supportive nurses. Women aged 25-69 who are Māori, Pacific, or Asian, as well as those aged 30-69 who have never had a smear test or are overdue for one (5 years since their last test), are eligible for this funded program.
Referrals to our service can be made through self-referral, other agencies, or individuals. Our location serves women residing within the Ngati Raukawa ki te Tonga Manawatu/Bulls and Horowhenua regions, including Otaki.
Raukawa Whānau Ora is a Kaupapa Māori organization that incorporates inherited values to provide family-centered health, social, and educational services. We operate from a whānau ora approach, offering free and confidential services to all who wish to access them.
