Kōhungahunga Maternity Unit is a primary birthing unit located in Levin, attached to Horowhenua Health Centre. The unit is staffed with a midwife on each shift. Low-risk women can birth here with their LMC. There is one dedicated birthing room with a bath for waterbirth and 3 postnatal rooms with queen-sized beds and ensuites. Partners are welcome to stay.
